What actually is PIP?
A pocket-sized device with a 2.16" AMOLED touchscreen and a little creature living on it. He pulls your tour — shows, setlists, travel, crew — and reacts to where you are in the day. There's a companion phone app too, showing the same face and the same information.
When does it ship?
Coming soon. The hardware and firmware are built and running; PIP is in the final stretch before the first production batch. The waitlist gets the date first.
Is $75 the final price?
That's the launch price — one time, no subscription. Firmware updates arrive over WiFi and stay free.
Do I need Pingig to use it?
PIP pairs with your Pingig account, which is free to join. That's where your shows, tour sheet and settings live — PIP reads from it and shows up on the device on its next sync.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. He pulls what he needs when there's WiFi and keeps working without it — including the emergency card, which shows the right emergency number for tonight's country with no connection at all.
I'm not in a band. Is it for me?
Honestly, he's built for people who live out of a bag — touring musicians, crew, techs, tour managers. If your week is airports, load-ins and hotel rooms, he'll make sense. If it isn't, he's a very charming desk companion.
